Messenger: Configuring different marketplaces

1. Configuring Messenger for the OTTO marketplace
In the following, you can find an example with a step-by-step instruction how you configure the Messenger for the OTTO marketplace. We only focus on the necessary settings - you can make optional settings at any time within the instructions.
The following actions are carried out for this practical example:
For the most popular marketplaces, standard groups are already available to you. You only have to set them to visible.
Setting the group of the OTTO marketplace to visible:

Go to Setup » CRM » Messenger » Groups, types and statuses.
Or: If you are already in the Messenger menu, click on the left side below the settings Settings section onchecklist_rtl Groups, types and statuses. -
In the line of the group that you want to set to visible, click on toggle_on Visible.

Expand the group and carry out further settings for the types and statuses, if desired.

Save (save) the settings.
Creating a type and status within the OTTO group:

Go to Setup » CRM » Messenger » Groups, types and statuses.

Click on the group named OTTO.

Click on list to create the default types and statuses for this group.
Or: Create your own custom types and statuses. -
Click on save to save the types and statuses.
Creating an email template for the OTTO inbox:

Go to CRM » EmailBuilder.

In the bottom left, click on add Add.
Or: In the line of the folder in which you want to create a template, click on more_vert and then on add Add play_arrow. -
Click on description Template.
→ The Add new template window opens. -
Enter the name of the marketplace, in this case`OTTO` under name.

Save (save) the settings.

Click on Add a new language.

Click on German.

Enter the following twig expression for the subject:
{{ messenger.title }}
. This ensures that replies sent with this email template always contain the original subject of the conversation. -
Click on edit under Content and subject to edit the content of the template.

Drag a text widget into the template by using drag & drop.

Click on edit inside the text widget.

Search for the variable Conversation first message in the search field.

Click on the variable Conversation first message to insert it into the text widget.

Click inside the text widget behind the inserted variable and press Enter to create a line break.

Search for the variable Conversation last message in the search field.

Click on the variable Conversation last message to insert it into the text widget.

Add additional standard content to the template if required. Make sure that the content complies with the specific requirements of the marketplace.

Click on save to save the template.
Creating an OTTO channel:

Create a new channel for the OTTO marketplace and select the newly created email template under Sending emails in the Email templates section.
