Migrating procedures to Flow Studio

As a general rule, we recommend not migrating procedures, but designing workflows from scratch with PlentyONE Flow. PlentyONE Flow increases efficiency by automating and intelligently combining workflows, reducing manual steps and errors. It is customisable for specific needs, creates optimal workflows, increases productivity and improves overall performance. Therefore, we recommend not migrating individual procedures, but rather automating workflows in a structured way.

Function availability

The migrate function is only available if the action manager is available in the system.

Procedure can only be migrated once

A procedure can only be migrated once and can only be migrated individually. Check all triggers, conditions and actions after the migration. Verification is important before starting a flow to ensure that everything has been configured correctly. Flows with incorrectly configured settings will not work.

1. Migrating procedures to Flow Studio

Proceed as described below to migrate a procedure to Flow Studio.

  1. Go to Automation » Flow Studio.

  2. Click on the button (sync_alt) in the flow overview.

→ An overlay appears in which the procedures are listed..

  1. Click the button (sync_alt) to migrate a procedure.

After you successfully migrated the procedure the detail view opens in Flow Studio. Here you can customise the flow according to your needs. After the migration, check the migrated filters and actions and deactivate the migrated procedure in the procedure manager.

Important

The flow is not automatically active and must be activated. Check the newly created flow carefully before activating it. Don’t forget to deactivate the procedure in the procedure manager after you configurated the flow to prevent that procedures and flows are executed in parallel.

1.1. Migrating procedures for eBay feedback

If you want to migrate procedures to react to positive eBay feedback, you can use the trigger eBay feedback received. This trigger doesn’t react to incoming feedback in real time. Instead it checks every hour, if there are orders that received positive feedback. If this is the case, the event is triggered for every order.

You have to migrate this procedure manually, meaning that you have to create a new flow with the correct settings. Proceed as follows, to migrate a procedure for eBay feedback:

  1. Go to Automation » Flow Studio.

  2. Click on Create new flow (add).
    → The flow creation window opens.

  3. Enter a name for the flow.

  4. Click Next.

  5. Select Event-based as the trigger.

  6. Click Next.

  7. Select eBay feedback received from the trigger selection.

  8. Select positive as feedback type.

  9. Select were the flow should be available.

  10. Click Save (save).
