Admin area
On this page you find every work flow regarding user accounts that requires administrator rights. This includes unlokcing user accounts, logging out user accounts from a system and booking additional licenses to your system.

1. Unblocking a user account
The maximum number of login attempts is 5 per user account or 25 per IP address. If the maximum number of login attempts is exceeded, the account is blocked for 24 hours. Users with admin rights can unblock a user account manually before this 24 hour period has passed.
Unblocking a user account:

Open the menu Setup » Account management » Accounts.
→ The user accounts are displayed. -
Double click the blocked user account.
→ The user account opens. -
Click Unblock login.
→ The user account is unblocked.
2. Changing the password of a user as administrator
As administrator you can change the password of users that login with plenty ID, user name and password.
Proceed as follows to change the password of a user account:

Open the menu Setup » Account management » Accounts.

Click Search (search).

Click on the user account you want to edit.
→ The account detail view opens. -
Enter the new password under Password.

Repeat the new password under Repeat password.

Click Save (save).
The user account can now login with the new password.
3. Managing the number of logged in user accounts
Depending on your PlentyONE edition, the user accounts that can be logged into PlentyONE at the same time may be limited. This limit applies to the PlentyONE back end, the REST API and the plentymarkets App.
You can do the following if you reach the user limit:

4. Logging out user accounts
Proceed as follows to use the session management to log out user accounts.
Logging out user accounts

Open the Setup » Account management » Accounts menu.

Click Search (search).
→ All user accounts are displayed. -
Activate the check boxes of the users that you want to log out.

Click More (more_vert).
→ a dropdown menu expands. -
Click Logout.
→ The selected users are logged out.
4.1. Logging out users when user limit is exceeded
If the number of user accounts has been reached or exceeded, admin users can access the Setup » Account management » Accounts menu by clicking on the error message that is shown when they attempt to log in.
Logging out users when user limit is exceeded:

Log into the PlentyONE back end.
→ An error message is displayed. -
Click the link in the error message.
→ The Setup » Account management » Accounts menu opens.
→ All user accounts are displayed. -
Activate the check boxes of the users that you want to log out.

Click More (more_vert).
→ a dropdown menu expands. -
Click Logout.
→ The selected users are logged out.
Note: The login via the error message is valid for 10 minutes. You are automatically logged out after this time.
5. Booking additional user licenses
You can book additional user licenses in the "My account" area.
Booking additional user licenses:

Go to PlentyONE logo (Start) » My account.
Tip: To do so, point your cursor at the PlentyONE logo at the top left of the screen.
→ The "My account" area opens in a new browser tab. -
Click on Contracts.
→ You will see information about your current contracts. -
Click on Edit contract.
→ The configurator appears. -
Make changes to the contract information as desired.
