Checklist: Connecting Amazon

You have completed the basic setup of your PlentyONE system and want to offer your items on Amazon? To start selling on Amazon, you must at least complete the settings in the checklist below. Click on the links in the checklist to learn how to configure the settings.

To do this, you must have an Amazon account and already offer your items on Amazon.

  • Connect your Amazon account to PlentyONE so that PlentyONE can access your existing Amazon account and data can be exchanged with Amazon.

  • Create a sales price for Amazon. This price applies to the items you offer on Amazon.

  • Add the Amazon product types that match your items (for example, clothing or electrical appliances). This step is required to correctly list your items on Amazon.

  • Import the items you want to offer on Amazon via PlentyONE. This is done in the Data » Import menu using a CSV template.
    Important: You can only use this template to import items that already have an ASIN.

First, import some of your best-selling items here. Later, you can import your entire product catalogue into PlentyONE. This way, you can already start selling on Amazon.
Importing items

Importing items:

  1. Go to Data » Import.

  2. In the toolbar, click Import data using template (list_alt_add).
    Important: You can only use this template to import items that already have an ASIN.
    → The window Import data using template opens.

  3. Click download in the bottom right corner.
    → The CSV file is downloaded.

  4. Fill the CSV file with the items you want to offer on Amazon via PlentyONE.
    Important: You can only use this file for supported Amazon product categories. Currently, only the categories Fashion, Electronics, and Home and Garden are supported.

  5. Upload the completed file again by clicking upload UPLOAD RIGHT NOW.

  • Create product and offer catalogues for Amazon. In the catalogues, you specify which data should be transferred to Amazon.

  • Activate your Amazon account so that can be exchanged with Amazon.

  • Manage and edit your orders in the central order overview. Here you can see all orders generated via the various sales channels.

  • Integrate your existing DHL account into PlentyONE to be able to process shipments directly in PlentyONE.
