Plenty AI closed beta
Plenty AI is currently in a Closed Beta Phase to ensure the highest quality of insights. PlentyONE is closely reviewing the answer quality for accuracy and speed. While all core calculations are verified, your feedback helps us refine how the agent interprets complex natural language requests. |
1. Interface
Plenty AI lives in a flexible chat interface. Use it as a sidebar for quick lookups while you work, or expand it to full-screen when you need to analyse detailed reports.
With Plenty AI you don’t need to toggle between different tools. The interface is designed to understand your intent (e.g. asking for a sales figure or a status update) and provide the correct answer immediately.
You can query sales, revenue, and inventory levels. Plenty AI translates your words into precise data requests.
It also provides contextual insights, helping you spot trends and anomalies rather than just handing over a list of digits.
2. Core Capabilities
Plenty AI specialises in three main areas: Sales Performance, Stock Management, and System Overview.
|
More capabilities are coming soon! Stay tuned for additional features and enhancements to expand what you can do with Plenty AI. |
2.1. Sales Performance
Calculate key performance indicators (KPI) with advanced filtering and aggregations.
Set the timeframe for the data you want (e.g. "The last 14 days" or "last month").
Then request sums, averages, or counts or query Net Revenue, GMV, total orders, listings, items sold, and return rates.
2.2. Stock Management
Monitor your warehouse efficiency and identify risks before they impact your bottom line. This means you can:
-
identify "at-risk" inventory.
-
spot items that aren’t moving fast enough relative to the amount of stock on hand.
-
view your most recent reorders.
-
look up specific items by name to see their sales speed and recommended reorder quantities.
Plenty AI uses the same defintion for at risk or overstocked items as the stock dashboard. Here, you find more information.
3. Example Questions
Try these prompts to get started:
| Goal | Example Question |
|---|---|
Sales Performance |
"What was our net revenue for the last 14 days?" |
Inventory Risk |
"Which items are at risk of running out of stock this week?" |
Channel Overview |
"Show me a list of all connected sales channels." |
Efficiency |
"What is the average return rate for items sold this month?" |
4. Mandatory information on using Plenty AI
Plenty AI refers to the conversational AI that is available in the customer system. It can be accessed via the conversation icon in the top navigation bar. Plenty AI is based on the AWS service Amazon Bedrock.
Plenty AI may only be used within the framework of legal and contractual requirements. The AI may only be used for purposes that have been agreed upon with third parties (e.g. platforms or providers). Personal data must not be entered or processed without a legal basis (e.g. consent, contract fulfilment).
4.1. Consent to the analysis of system-specific data
Plenty AI has access to general documentation. For questions relating to general topics, Plenty AI is available to all PlentyONE customers. This includes, among other things, questions about system settings and feature accessibility. These questions are answered exclusively using the general documentation.
After appropriate consent, Plenty AI has access to system-specific data. This data is made available to the AI through the use of the Plenty API and is analysed by the AI. Without explicit consent to use system-specific data, Plenty AI cannot answer system-specific questions. Plenty AI can only answer questions about a system if it is called from that particular system.
4.2. Information obligations of the retailer
As a retailer, you are obliged to inform your employees about the use of Plenty AI:
-
Permitted and prohibited data entry (e.g. no sensitive personal data without a legal basis).
-
Responsibility of employees when using the system (e.g. obligation to carry out human review of results).
-
Reporting channels in the event of anomalies or data protection incidents.
Employees must be trained and made aware on a regular basis so that they use the AI correctly, safely and lawfully.
Limitation: AI results are supportive and are not to be understood as legally binding or guaranteed statements.
4.3. Privacy
AWS employs comprehensive technical, organisational and contractual measures to ensure the security and protection of confidential data. These include international standards such as ISO 27018 (data protection in the cloud) and SOC 2 Type II (review of data protection controls by independent bodies). As part of these certifications, AWS processes and protects personal data in accordance with recognised security and data protection guidelines.+
For more information, please visit the official AWS Data Privacy page.
4.4. Security
Security and compliance represent a shared responsibility between AWS and PlentyONE as AWS customers. The shared responsibility model describes this as security of the cloud itself and security in the cloud:
-
Security of the cloud: AWS is responsible for protecting the infrastructure on which AWS services are run in the AWS Cloud. According to AWS, external auditors regularly test and verify the effectiveness of security measures. Further information on the compliance programmes that apply to Amazon Bedrock can be found under AWS Services in the "AWS Compliance Programme" section.
-
Security in the cloud: Responsibility of PlentyONE as a provider depends on the AWS service we use. PlentyONE is also responsible for factors such as the confidentiality of our data, the requirements of our company and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
For more information on security, please visit: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/bedrock/latest/userguide/security.html.
4.5. Requirements for the responsible use of AI
PlentyONE as the provider and you as the user are responsible for all decisions, recommendations, actions and omissions regarding the use of the service. The results generated by the AI must always be verified by you through human review for accuracy, completeness and suitability for the respective use case.
